Stuart Craig reveals that he wept at the Shooting Death of Snape in 'The Deathly hallows
The Telegraph Magazine conducted an interview with BAFTA nominee for his work on the sixth film, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Stuart Craig, the manager of the designs in the production of the Harry Potter films. In the interview Craig talks about his favorite objects of the films, such as the Monstrous Book of Monsters, the Weasley's clock, or the Angel of Death Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
In relation to The Deathly Hallows, Craig mentioned that he was present at the filming of the death of Severus Snape, and says she cried after because of the brilliant performance of Alan Rickman. And the final scenes, had to create a new Golden Snitch was opened to when Harry enters the Forbidden Forest.
The last time I cried was a few days ago, when we filmed the death of Alan Rickman's character, Snape. It is very difficult to mourn in a time of many bustle and hurry, because we were both reviewing the work of previous days, but he's an extraordinary actor and makes that death is very extraordinary.
