Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince ', Oscar Nominated for Best Picture!


Throughout the month of January we come to know details about the escalation of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in the pre-selections for the different categories of the coveted Oscar. Today we know at last that the sixth Harry Potter film has been nominated for the Oscar 2010 in the category of Best Cinematography, due to excellent work by Bruno Delbonnel.

Thus, finally the film was not nominated in the category of Best Visual Effects (which was pre-candidate) also is the seventh time in- a Harry Potter film is nominated for the Oscars. Maybe this magic number will bring luck to the band this year. Recall the earlier nominations:

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone was nominated in the categories of Best Art Direction, Best Original Score and Best Costume.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was nominated in the categories of Best Original Score and Best Visual Effects.
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Art Direction.
The grand ceremony in which the statuettes will be handed to the winners of this edition No. 82 of the Academy Awards will take place on 07 of March at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood.
