The Telegraph Magazine conducted an interview with BAFTA nominee for his work on the sixth film, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Stuart Craig, the manager of the designs in the production of the Harry Potter films. In the interview Craig talks about his favorite objects of the films, such as the Monstrous Book of Monsters, the Weasley's clock, or the Angel of Death Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

In relation to The Deathly Hallows, Craig mentioned that he was present at the filming of the death of Severus Snape, and says she cried after because of the brilliant performance of Alan Rickman. And the final scenes, had to create a new Golden Snitch was opened to when Harry enters the Forbidden Forest.

The last time I cried was a few days ago, when we filmed the death of Alan Rickman's character, Snape. It is very difficult to mourn in a time of many bustle and hurry, because we were both reviewing the work of previous days, but he's an extraordinary actor and makes that death is very extraordinary.

Matthew Lewis broke the Sword of Gryffindor in the shootings 'The Deathly hallows'?

The actors Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom) and Warwick Davis (Filius Flitwick) attended yesterday the Midlands Movie Comic Media Expo to talk with fans about Harry Potter. One fan asked Matthew about his big scene in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, where Neville uses the sword of Gryffindor against Nagini. The updated his Twitter fans with the response of the actor:

During the Q & A revealed that he broke the sword of Gryffindor when he swung the blade and the handle broke.

Obviously no danger for the shoot, since it is more than likely have multiple identical swords to make films, but is the least a curious fact for the fans.

Chris Columbus discuss his work on 'Harry Potter' and his Step 'Percy Jackson'

3 days ago was released worldwide the film Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, by the hand of Chris Columbus, director of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Although there have been inevitable comparisons between the two sagas, Chris has made it very clear that they are completely professional and individual projects that each has given the best of their creativity. Today is available an interesting interview with Chris on the occasion of the promotion of Percy Jackson, where he spoke briefly about his work in the Harry Potter:

They say small, Chris Columbus dreamed of unimaginable places, and with his friends, strayed into amazing adventures of knights, conquerors of other worlds, and more, it really could not sleep it was his desire to become cartoonist for Marvel Comics. But putting aside that child within, now its 51 years, the U.S. director of the first "Harry Potter" (The Philosopher's Stone and The Chamber of Secrets, and was producer of The Prisoner of Azkaban), Chris Columbus is launched a new adventure with the shooting of his film Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief.

"My daughter is dyslexic and I used to listen to the Percy Jackson books on audio. I spent a day in his room and started listening to her story and was intrigued by the narrative line. What fascinated me was the use of Greek mythology, something that perhaps had not been done since Clash of the Titans. Never before had I imagined Greek mythology portrayed in this manner in particular, using all tools available film of today. I thought it would only make a great movie like this if he felt he could be something completely unique and original. "

"After the experience of directing the first two Harry Potter and then producing the third, I was physically exhausted. So I made two smaller films (Christmas with the Kranks and Rent) after that and did not return until I felt I was strong enough to make a great tape again. Actually I do not know how. Do not have a full body scan, but try to make the actors feel comfortable, that also do with cinema and anyone working on the set so you can create the best film possible.

Have you seen the new film by Chris Columbus? Share with us your comments and perspectives on the tape:)

Shirley Henderson Speaks on Election Moaning Myrtle in the Saga of 'Harry Potter'

The actress Shirley Henderson, who plays Moaning Myrtle in the Harry Potter films, has given a new interview with the newspaper Scotland on Sunday, due to the promotion of her new film Life During Warmtime, presented today at the Film Festival Venice. In it, Shirley plays Joy, a neurotic woman with a lousy husband. During the talk, Shirley mentioned briefly when passing through the boy wizard movies:

Moaning Myrtle is a very special case. Henderson initially found it very strange that she had been called for hearing, because the character was much younger than her at that time. "But when I met the technical team, I realized that what they wanted was a kind of child-adult, as someone so temperamental melancholy.

Recall that pasado 05 of January the agency Shirley Hamilton Hodell, announced that "we are afraid to say that rumors of his return are not true" about the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Shirley's new tape has a release date estimated for April 24 this year:)

Home Revealed Next Videogame 'LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4'

The Play.com website today revealed the first known image of the cover of the highly anticipated new LEGO Harry Potter video game in years 1-4, in which we appreciate Harry Potter, Ronald Weasley, Hermione Granger, Hagrid Ruebus, and Albus Dumbledore in front of the castle Hogwarts. This promises to be one of the most entertaining games of the saga of the boy wizard, converting the first 4 years at Hogwarts in an adventure for the whole family. Also, the site shows a release date of May 28, 2010.

For example, among many other actions of 140 playable characters, we can go to class and learn new spells and magic formulas for mixing potions. In this sense, each character will have their own special skills and learn a lot more based on their physical and mental fitness. So discover that Hermione has great potential in the management of the flying broomstick, thus being able to access areas that Harry and Ron are blocked. Meanwhile, Harry will have unique abilities like the ability to speak or use spells like Parseltongue Patronus. Meanwhile, Hagrid use his magic umbrella to reach areas that others could not.

The differences between the characters also be felt in their relationship with the magical world around them. For example, if a student control of the Slytherin house, he may enter their common room, but we can never make controlling Harry. Therefore, the re-visit again and again surpassed the stage and ensure we find secrets and new areas to discover, greatly increasing the re-playability. The exploration of scenarios and cooperation between the characters will be essential to locate hidden objects that will allow us to unlock additional content and all the characters included in the game. We shall also perform other tasks at Hogwarts, like cleaning the corridors and chat with the Ghosts to find new missions.

Remember that you can book your LEGO Harry Potter video game in our store from Amazon.com (PC, Wii, DS, PS3, Xbox360 and PSP):)

Harry Potter Trio on Top Hollywood Earners of 2009 List

Actors Dan Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Emma Watson (Hermione Granger), and Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) are among the forty top earners in Hollywood in 2009, according to a new list published by Vanity Fair. Miss Watson, ranked in 14th place, is the top female earner on the list, as well as also the youngest person to be included, says an article in the Telegraph. Harry Potter costars Dan Radcliffe, who is the highest paid actor, and Rupert Grint also made the list in 6th and 14th place, respectively. The trio, who are next slated to star together in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Parts One & Two," join such other big Hollywood names as director James Cameron, actor Ben Stiller, producer J. J. Abrams, and actor Denzel Washington on the Vanity Fair list.

A Note from J.K. Rowling on "Helping Haiti Heal"

As of today, the Helping Haiti Heal effort has raised nearly $97,000. If we get to $105,000, Partners in Health will name the three full cargo planes (full of medical supplies and other desperately needed equipment) that we have funded after three wizards we know well: Harry, Ron, and Hermione. The trio will fly into Haiti to help.

We are very close to that goal. We still need your help to do it. But today, J.K. Rowling, hearing about all your AMAZING work so far, has passed along a message and specifically asked we share it here:

To everyone who has helped raise such an incredible amount for the earthquake survivors in Haiti: THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

Like many others, I made a personal donation to the DEC shortly after the earthquake happened; but never did I expect such an amazing response from all of you. You cannot imagine how awed, moved and humbled I am to know that planes named Harry, Ron and Hermione are going to be flying off to help. I did not need this to remind me how extraordinary Harry’s fans are, but you keep giving me proofs. THANK YOU! - Jo

Remember, you can still enter to win a full set of signed Harry Potter books and many more awesome prizes - AND 100% of your donation will go toward relief - by visiting this page. Also stay tuned for more announcements soon. If you can't donate, tell someone who can. If you know someone who might want to take part but might not know about the effort, e-mail them right now. Tell your local news outlet. Tweet. We can get there with your help! Help send the trio to Haiti!

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: The experience of the wands

Today, Universal Orlando has sent us new and interesting information about The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, specifically on Ollivanders store. In this statement we say visitors have the opportunity to live an experience similar to that Harry is in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, where the wand chooses the wizard.

"When visitors visit Ollivanders instantly they will feel they are in the store from the films. The building is intimate, simple windows with the same symbols, colors and other details found in books and movies. But more importantly, visitors to experience for themselves the magic moment that Harry's life changes forever "

When you enter you will be received by a curious wandmaker, which will guide us to find our wand, which will find out through some specific questions and then select a wand to give a first attempt, and if you wand is not adequate, we must prepare to see some magical accident in the store.

A very interesting attraction that can be enjoyed when the park opens this 2010.

Thanks Universal Orlando!

Any confirmed scenes, added pieces of news and finally a really cool interview with a shoot of Dan, Rupert, Emma and Bonnie Wright did in studio for the DH's promo !

The interview isn't complete, but we selected for you, interesting elements !

Emma Watson
To kiss Rupert in front of cameras will stay the strangest experience for me, since I've played in Harry Potter. Him and I was frightened about this scene, and would like to do it quickly. But the hardest is coming ... I have to kiss Dan ! It's a scene where Ron imagine a kiss between Harry and Hermione."

"We haven't filmed the epilogue yet, in which we can see the future of Harry, Ron and Hermione 19 years later. At the beginning, producers would like to replace us, but they finally kept us. We will look like 40 years old persons. I'm very impatient to see that !"

Daniel Radcliffe
"In the Deathly Hallows, you'll see Harry as you never saw him before ! For example, I shot a scene where i'm entirely naked. When I read the script, I thought that I would carry underwears but no ! I've already done it for Equus so it wasn't so difficult. I'm wondering how people will react, even if any things will be hidden in the screen !"

"Recently, we've finished a scene in which I had difficulties. It's the 7 Potter's scene ! We had to shoot a take where I was a different Harry instead of the other actors. It was fun, but very hard, because sometimes, I forgot who I had to be ... That made me crazy !"

Rupert Grint
"We shot a lot of physical scenes. For Daniel, filming was very complicated. But he never complained ... When he became sick because of filming conditions, he was ok and he never complained ..."

Interesting pieces of news !

French publication One Magazine interviews trio on Deathly Hallows set

There are some new interview bits online this morning thanks to Potter fansite HarryPotterForever.fr.

While the translation is very rough, we learn about challenges and scenes that Dan, Emma, and Rupert have recently shot:

Wizarding World tidbits: more on JK Rowling tasting butterbeer, Forbidden Journey ride to have authentic Potter props and rooms in queue

Speaking with MTV's Hollywood Crush Blog, Universal's VP of creative development Thierry Coup (who we interviewed yesterday) has revealed more cool details about the park.

On the butterbeer front, we've learned more concerning JK Rowling's tasting of the drink:

Thierry: "It was really fun to be a part of the whole tasting different [attempts at butterbeer] to try until J.K. Rowling really felt, okay, this is it, this is what I always thought butterbeer should taste like," Coup shared with us in a phone interview. "It was a very exciting moment to see her smile and actually taste it. It's a delicious thing, first of all. It's everything you expected it to be."

We've also learned that there is plenty of work going on to make the Forbidden Journey queue as entertaining as possible:

When we asked him how young children would feel about some of the rides, he said even if they don't want to ride Forbidden Journey, the walk through Hogwarts castle would be worth it because they would be able to "visit all the iconic rooms" described in the "Harry Potter" books and movies.

Since Universal has been working with the films' production designer, Stuart Craig, and art director, Alan Gilmore, the rooms are supposed to be very accurate representations of the interior of Hogwarts — so much so that most of the props used in the rooms are the actual props from the films and are on lease from Warner Bros. Later releases from Universal will tell which rooms are going to be included in the castle — and whether actual actors will be recreating the scenes promised for the Forbidden Journey ride.
