Figures Set of 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince'
Posted: 29 Aug 2009 02:31 AM PDT
This time the retinue NECA brings the figures of collection of Harry Potter, Ginny Weasley, Draco Malfoy and Mad-Eye Moody.
The set of figures comes in 2 forms: of 9.5 centimeters and 18 centimeters. Although the dolls include the set are of different sizes from each other. The scale was well represented, for its size (height) is proportional to the characters in the film, Harry Potter being the shortest of the 4, is next in height Ginny, Draco and finally Moody. Brief description of figures:
Harry Potter: The picture of Harry wearing the garment looks when he goes in search of the Horcrux in the cave, one of the best scenes of the film.
Ginny Weasley: He's with his suit Hogwarts student. It has a detail I did not like, his wand is held by a small rubber, do not ever withdraw it very difficult to hold it back, I resorted to smear dough on hand and the wand does not fall.
Draco Malfoy: Same as Ginny wears the costume of study, the figure of Draco made it more colorful than Harry and Ginny, he remained better detail. The sticks that look the 4 dolls are mini replicas just like the ones used in movies. Draco is also blessed cauchito holding his wand (not retire).
Mad Eye Moody: With its classic battle dress, is the most striking of the four, comes with his staff / wand and leg metal's very detailed. All characters come with an oval base.
As I mentioned in last post, these figures are valued over time, because of Severus Snape, Lord Voldemort, Hermione Granger and Bellatrix Lestrange, are now 3 or 4 times its normal value in almost all stores are depleted because the manufacturing company has stopped production, hopefully make a new run.
Below you will find photos of these new figures:

And all indications are returning to the days of interesting news in the wonderful world of Harry Potter today as one of the major stakeholders in the allocation of the franchise has chosen to reveal some details in a new interview, and we speak no more and no less than the beloved actor Jason Isaacs, Who plays the cowardly villain Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter films, which recently gave an interview to the BBC Radio the occasion of the launch in DVD and Blu-Ray his most recent film workGood alongside Viggo Mortensen, apart from talking about the aforementioned film, the actor also commented on the filming ofHarry Potter and the Deathly Hallowse and his character Lucius Malfoy. Jason says that filming scenes for theMalfoy Manor completed and that within a month will return to Leavesden Studios to film some dramatic scenes with the actor Ralph Fiennes, Who plays the sinister Lord Voldemort, also the actor has told us all the humiliation that takes its character in this new film in the series, noting that Lucius has lost many influences and experiences a "Ugly fall from grace". The interpreter also shares his thoughts on the difference between the book and the script Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in relation to the scene of the Astronomy Tower, because as we all know, in the book Harry was paralyzed by Dumbledore.
During the interview, as expected, Jason also asked about the division of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows what the answer would be a moment arguing that "Cliffhanger " (term used to refer to a moment of action, doubt, suspense or genuine difficulty, such as leaving the expectation of which will be the outcome of that scene), but unfortunately Jason gave no details about it because actors signed a confidentiality clause which prohibits them from talking about it or to reveal something.
And apparently the actor Joshua Herdman (Gregory Goyle) I completely forget that it had signed a confidential agreement in recent days since revealed that the film would be divided just at the moment in which scavengers caught the trio at their camp in a forest. If you want to enjoy the full interview (in English) just clickhere. Remember BlogHogwarts will keep you informed with everything related to the filming of the seventh film in the series, So keep tuned.

'Deathly Hallows': Warwick Davis Interpret Griphook, New Technology Used for 'The 7 Potters'
Posted: 27 Aug 2009 05:07 PM PDT
And over time the famous social networking site Twitter has become a way of obtaining real-time updates and interact with famous people in the past could be seen as untouchable or rather, impossible to contact or communicate with them, this is the case of the actors in Harry Potter. At present several celebrities that make up the cast of the series are recorded on Twitter and that is why every day we bring new and interesting information from filming the seventh film in the series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, through their tweets, one of which is the beloved actor Warwick Davis, who plays Filius Flitwick from Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, who consistently responds to all fans very friendly and even makes jokes funny like all of us share a top-10 of the songs on the iPod would Snape tell if this one (xD), a little part of it also confirms that interpretation will be playing the elf Griphook in Deathly Hallows and adds that it has been numerous times in the Leavesden studios to film several parts of the film, possibly to the scenes in El Refugio, which were filmed signing rumors in recent days.
On the other hand the young actor Oliver Phelps, who plays George Weasley in the Potter films, recently revealed through the aforementioned Twitter that new technology is being used in the filming of The Deathly Hallows:
Today was an incredible day of shooting. I affirm that I am the first British actor to get a computerized facial capture MOVA VFX, a fascinating technology. This is a system of 29 cameras, makeup artificial ultraviolet light which can get very detailed movements of the face.
This "fascinating" technique will be specifically used in the scenes of the 7 Potters because all stakeholders have to undergo a facial analysis to make the molds when they have to take the Polyjuice Potion and Harry become.
MOVA VFX technology has been used in famous movies like The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Eragon and beowolf. Remember, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows opens in two parts, one on November 19th 2010 and the second on July 15, 2011, the filming of this run until next April 2010, ie , we'll more than 7 months continuous updates regarding the filming of the final Harry Potter actress Emma Watson goes to the U.S. in the coming days and it seems to return in December to continue filming scenes missing. Harry Potter Books Annexes 24/24: 'The Prequel'
Posted: 27 Aug 2009 02:11 PM PDT
And now we reach the last chapter of our daily reading of the annexes of Harry Potter books. Many months ago we finished reading the 199 chapters of the Harry Potter and today, we finished with the books annexes. Could it be that in a few years we can read new Harry Potter books? Time will tell.
To finalize the annexes books end up with the prequel to Harry Potter (what would you title it?) Which, although not a book as such, is written by JK Rowling.
What about the prequel? It's short but it shows us the activities that James and Sirius did to the Order of the Phoenix (and best, personality and friendship of both characters). What we learned from this prequel? That Elvendork is unisex:)
Before the reading, what they found this daily reading books attachments? What is your favorite? See you in the comments.
- Side 01 --
The motorcycle took speed and turned a corner so fast in the darkness that both police officers patrol in pursuit shouting "Wow." Sergeant Fisher crushed his foot on the brake, thinking that the boy who was driving would be safe under his wheels, but the motorcycle made the turn without throwing any of his passengers, and with a wink of your back, light red, disappeared down the narrow side of the street.
We have them! Officer Anderson yelled excitedly That's a dead end!
Building on the wheel and tightening their tires, Fisher scraped the paint from the side of the car while he forced through the narrow street in pursuit.
There on the lights sat motionless prey finally race after a quarter of an hour. The two passengers were trapped between a high brick wall and the police patrol, which was now before them like a roaring predator with shining eyes.
There was so little space between car doors and walls of the alley that Fisher and Anderson had difficulty exiting the vehicle. They hurt the dignity where crabs have to scroll to the brigands. Fisher dragged his generous belly along the wall, tearing buttons off his shirt on the way and finally tearing the side mirror of the car with its rear.
- Get off the bike! "shouted the smiling young, who sat bathing in the bright blue, as if he enjoyed.
They did what they had asked. Once free of the broken mirror of the car, Fisher looked at them. They appeared to be teenagers. He who had been driving had long black hair, and his insolent good looks reminded him unpleasantly to vague guitarist, his daughter's boyfriend. The second also had black hair, though short and stopped in all directions. He wore glasses and smiled broadly. Both wore T-shirts bearing a golden bird, probably the emblem of some challenging rock band without tuning.
- No Helmets! Fisher yelled, pointing to an unprotected head to another, - Speeding ... and a great deal!
In fact, the speed registered had been much higher than that Fisher would have been willing to accept that any motorcycle could reach, - Do not stop at the police!
- Side 02 --
- We would have stopped to talk, "said the boy only glasses we were trying ...
- Do not get ready! You two are about to be in trouble! Anderson said sarcastically Names!
- Names? repeated the long-haired driver Ehm, well, let's see. Are Elvendork Wilberforce ... ... ... Bathshebba
- What's best is that name you can use it for a boy or a girl! "said the boy glasses.
- Oh! Is our names mean? asked the first, as Anderson almost spat of rage he should have said! This here is James Potter, and I'm Sirius Black!
- This is going to be seriously black for you in a minute, insolent little guy ...
But neither James nor Sirius listened. Suddenly like bloodhounds were alert, looking behind Fisher and Anderson toward the roof of the police car to the dark mouth of the alley. Then, with identical fluid movements took their hands to their back pockets.
For the space of a heartbeat both policemen imagined guns looming before them, but a moment later saw that the motorcyclists had drawn more than ...
- Battery Sticks? Anderson said, almost laughing Pair of jokers, you two right? Well, those arrested on charges of ...
But Anderson never finished naming the charges. James and Sirius had shouted something incomprehensible and several beams of light moved.
The police returned, and then almost fell backwards. Three men were flying-actually flying-out of the alley on broomsticks, and at the same time, the patrol car stood on its back wheels.
A Fisher knees trembled and sat down, Anderson tripped over Fisher's legs and fell on him with a strong plum! Bang! Crash! They heard the men on brooms crashing the car up and down, apparently without realizing it to the floor while broken bits of brooms fell around them.
The motorcycle was already lit and roaring again. With his mouth still open, Fisher managed to get forces to return to look at young people.
- Thank you! Sirius shouted over the engine noise, I owe you one!
- Yes, a pleasure to meet them! James said, - And do not forget Elvendork! It's unisex!
There was a blow that shook the earth and Fisher and Anderson threw their arms in fear, his car had just fallen to the floor again. Now was the turn of the motorcycle roar. Before the incredulous eyes of the police, the bike is lifted to the heavens: James and Sirius walked away into the sky, the tail of light shining behind them like a vanishing ruby.

HP7: 'The Deathly Hallows Part I' or the end to 'Lost'
Posted: 27 Aug 2009 01:56 AM PDT
A few days ago, actor Joshua Herdman (Goyle) showed the scene that divided the two parts of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. No doubt this was great news for fans (I guess the producers must be annoying) but as this scene could change later.
So far, all the Harry Potter books have had a very Disney end. Although the scene minutes before the end someone has died or there was some battle, the movie always ends with a tone of "everything will be better tomorrow." But The Deathly Hallows Part I not, this film will leave us sitting in our seats very film and we can not leave the room when the film ends as the final, should be as impressive to show as the trio is kidnapped and not can do nothing to defend. Would be interesting for 30 seconds before the final, a Death Eater raise her wand, pointing to Ron and say Avada ... and then some pottéricas letters on a black background that says continue. It would certainly be an end of a lot of adrenaline and leave us eager to see the second part.
It would be an end to the style of the series Lost, his writers should be categorized as the writers who created the better end of the season in the history of television series. His final chapters (no spoilers, quiet) are so impressive that you need to know what will happen, for what ended well, what happened to these characters, and many viewers have to resort to theories.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I will be the first and only film of the franchise which will actually have a final where we will stay on hold and where we will not know what will happen to the trio (well, of course those who read the book as know, but with so many scenes invented maybe end up killing more characters).
Will it end The Deathly Hallows Part II as well? Of course not, nothing is more pink and happy that the epilogue of Harry Potter (of course, Harry suffered so much that I needed to finish having a pink and happy life), unless you take advantage and leave us a surprise as "Albus Severus was in Slytherin "and that will prove to be more Potter films but with the new generation (which did not think it will happen, but you never know with film majors).
Would you like to HP7-I have a final party on hold or prefer classic final "Tomorrow will be better, Harry"? See you in the comments.
Harry Potter Books Annexes 23/24: 'The Tale of the Three Brothers'
Posted: 26 Aug 2009 03:59 PM PDT
Today in our chronology of the Harry Potter books annexes, we end with The Tales of Beedle the Bard, with whom he is perhaps the most famous story of the book: The Tale of the Three Brothers. This story is well known as it plays an important role in the seventh book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
He had three brothers traveling along a road. They reached a river too deep and too dangerous, but as the three were skilled in magic, created a bridge to cross. When they were halfway, a hooded figure blocked their path.
Death spoke to them. She was upset because he had lost three possible victims. Pretending to congratulate them on their magical powers, they said they would give a prize for having escaped.
The older brother, who was very competitive, called a wand able to win all the duels. Death walked to an elder who was on the riverbank, made a wand with a branch and handed it over.
The middle brother, wanted to humiliate more death, so he asked the power to restore life to the dead. The death took a stone from the river bank and handed it, saying that the stone could raise the dead.
The younger brother, who did not trust the death, he asked for something to let him leave the place without her being able to follow it. Death grudgingly gave him his cloak invisible.
So, after giving them their gifts, let them move on. There comes a time when the brothers had to be separated to follow their own destiny.
The older brother kept walking for a week until I reach a village, where I'm looking for a magician who had a dispute. Armed with the Elder Wand, it was inevitable that won the duel. After killing his enemy, he went to the inn, where he boasted in style to take the powerful wand he had snatched from Death himself. That night, another wizard's older brother came and stole the wand and, if anything, cut his throat. That's how death takes the older sibling.
The middle brother, came to his house where he lived alone. There, take the stone and revive the dead and turn three times in the hand. To their surprise, they saw the girl with whom he would have married if she had not died. But she was sad and distant, separated by a veil. The man went crazy because of his desperate nostalgia and he committed suicide to join her beloved. That's how death takes the middle brother.
Death looking for the third brother, but never found. Until the brother reached an advanced age, takes off his coat and handed it to his son. He then received death as an old friend. Thus, as equals, both withdrew from life.

Campaign to support the distribution of Cherrybomb
Posted: 26 Aug 2009 03:17 AM PDT
We all know that Rupert Grint has made several films outside of Harry Potter: Thunderpants, Driving Lessons (Julie Walters) Cherrybomb and Wild Target. Today I want to focus on talking about Cherrybomb.
This film is about two friends who test their friendship because Michelle, the new girl, encourages them to carry out increasingly dangerous situations and illegal, which will end with deadly consequences. You can see the trailer below.
Due to the economic crisis being experienced, it is difficult for distributors to buy independent films, as only going to play it safe with the films that promise to be blockbusters. That's why ICM and The Little Film Company (producer) have created The Official Cherrybomb Campaign, which planned to Cherrybomb is distributed in a large number of cinemas around the world.
The request was made for eight zones, but started to grow and became an international campaign, which began to focus on U.S., then in Britain, until I get to Mexico and then spread to Latin America. That's why we joined the project because we want to see Cherrybomb on more screens. While the campaign specifically supports Cherrybomb, indirectly supports the independent film industry, to have more support around the world and keep growing.
They will be thinking "Okay, I've read a lot of bla bla bla What must I do to support?" There are three ways you can support.
The first is by signing an online petition.
With this request is to gather signatures to be seen to a large number of interested in seeing the film.

There are eight requests to USA, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Brazil, Australia and Asia, one for each zone.
